A Proud Moment for North American Zoroastrians, especially here in Chicago!
The North American Zarathushti community celebrated a milestone when the Zoroastrian Association of Houston unveiled North America’s first continuously-burning wood fire at the first-ever Atash Kadeh fire temple on the North American continent during Nowruz week last month.
The moment was extra special for the Chicago community as one of our own, Cyrus Rivetna, performed the architecture for the Atash Kadeh. Cyrus is renowned for his deep expertise and understanding of the history and architecture of Zarathusti fire temples across Iran and India.
We thank Cyrus for his work, dedication, passion, and selfless service to the global Zarathushti community.
Hamāzor Hamā Ashō-bēd!
May we all be united in strength and righteousness!
